Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive Cairo

Arrive in Cairo. Met by GlobeKey Travel’s tour manager (visa included). Transfer to hotel. Afternoon: Giza Plateau — Pyramids interior, Camel Ride, Solar Boat Museum, Great Sphinx. Evening: Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2 – Cairo: Echoes of the Pharaohs

Egyptian Museum of Antiquities — Tutankhamun treasures, Royal Mummies. Sultan Hassan Mosque. Khan El-Khalili Bazaar & Islamic Cairo walk. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3 – Aswan: Tombs of the Nobles & Monastery

Fly to Aswan (domestic flight included). Visit Tombs of the Nobles by camel. Saint Simeon’s Monastery. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 4 – Aswan: Nubian Village

Cross the Nile to visit a traditional Nubian village. Meet a local family, learn about ancient Nubian culture and traditions. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5 – Abu Simbel + Board Nile Cruise

Fly to Abu Simbel — twin temples of Ramses II & Queen Nefertari. Return to Aswan. Board luxury Nile Cruise ‘Sanctuary Sun Boat IV’. Lunch on board. Granite Quarries & Unfinished Obelisk. Afternoon tea. Dinner on board. Overnight on cruise.

Day 6 – Philae, Kom Ombo & Edfu

Motor launch to Philae Temple (Goddess Isis). Cruise to Kom Ombo — Greco-Roman temple of Haroeris & Sobek. Sail to Edfu — beautifully preserved Temple of Horus. Egyptian costume party on board. Overnight on cruise.

Day 7 – Valley of the Kings & Karnak

Cruise to Luxor. Temple of Luxor & Temple of Karnak (Great Hypostyle Hall). Valley of the Kings — tombs of various dynasties. Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple. Valley of the Queens (time permitting). Overnight on cruise.

Day 8 – Sakkara & Memphis

Disembark. Fly to Cairo. Memphis open-air museum & Ramses II statue. Sakkara — Step Pyramid of Djoser. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 9 – Departure

Breakfast. Transfer to Cairo International Airport. Departure.
