We don’t recommend it. It takes 15 to 18 hours on a very noisy train. Toilets are not clean, food quality is poor, and beds are only moderately comfortable.

If you prefer not to travel by sleeper train, we recommend upgrading to a domestic flight. Enjoy extra comfort with an additional night in a 5-star hotel. Extra supplement: $120 per person (one-way flight + 1 night). Seasonal supplements may apply.
Cruise schedules may change due to sailing conditions, but all mentioned sights are guaranteed. The order may vary.
Visa is provided upon arrival at $35 per person.

Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and public holidays. Entry to the reading area requires an extra ticket.
