Kindly note that hotel ratings in Egypt are not the same as in the USA or Europe. Therefore, 5-star hotels are always recommended. 3-star & 4-star hotels are not recommended as we have received complaints from our guests about them.

Complimentary WiFi on board most of our vehicles, as well as free WiFi zones in selected hotels and Nile cruises.
We don’t recommend it. It takes 15 to 18 hours on a very noisy train. Toilets are not clean, food is generally poor, and beds are moderately comfortable.
Client comment: “I am 6’0″ (183 cm) tall and barely fit into the bed — anyone taller would have to curl up.”
If you prefer not to travel by sleeper train, we recommend upgrading to a domestic flight. Enjoy extra comfort with an additional night in a 5-star hotel. Extra supplement: $120 per person (one-way flight + 1 night). Seasonal supplements may apply.

Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and public holidays. Entry to the reading area requires an extra ticket.
Egypt is GMT +2. Standard voltage is 220V with European 2-pin plugs. A universal adapter is recommended.
